1 Accreditation & Qualifications
In Australia, we require our translators to be accredited by the Australian National Accreditation Authority for Translators & Interpreters (NAATI) where available.  In the same way, our global team of translators must have experience, knowledge and the qualifications in order to work with us.

2 Ethics
Adhere to the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators (AUSIT) Code of Ethics as well as Connect's guidelines pre - delivery, during and post - delivery of  translation and localisation services.

3 Experience
Have significant experience in translating and interpreting in the assignment's subject matter.

4 Mother Tongue
The language other than English that the linguist is qualified in must be their native language to ensure the complete translation and localisation meets current trends and ‘speak’ of the local culture.
